Shipping & Delivery Time

Zoologist Perfumes is based in Toronto, Canada and we use Canada Post and UPS to ship our products.

For some places, such as the Middle Eastern countries and certain cities of Russia, we use only UPS; while there are some we use only Canada Post.

Important Information Regarding the Different Shipping Services By Canada Post

For shipment within Canada, Canada Post offers:

• Letter Post – for samples only (up to three samples). There will be no tracking; estimated delivery time 2 - 10 business days.
• Expedited Post – for any package that weighs more than 0.1 kg. Tracking number is provided; estimated delivery time 2 - 10 business days.

For shipment to USA, Canada Post offers:

• Small Packet USA – for samples and individual travel sprays only. There will be no tracking; estimated delivery time 2 to 3 weeks
• Tracked Packet USA – available for any package that weighs less than 1 kg. Tracking number is provided; estimated delivery time 2 to 3 weeks
• Expedited Parcel USA – available for any package that weighs less than 30 kg. Tracking number is provided; estimated delivery time 2 to 3 weeks

For shipment to the rest of the world, we use:

• Small Packet International Air – for samples only. There will be no tracking; estimated delivery time 2 to 3 weeks for Western European countries and 3 to 4 weeks for Eastern European countries, and often 4 to 6 weeks for some Asian countries and Australia and New Zealand
• Tracked Packet or International Parcel Air – available for any package that weighs less than 2 kg. Tracking number is provided; estimated delivery time same as Small Packet International Air.

Longer Than Expected Delivery Time?

It has come to our attention that some countries and areas, such as Australia, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, Spain, take longer time than expected to deliver our packages. We have been informed that the customs of those countries take considerably much longer time to process the international packages. In most cases, our packages have already arrived in those countries on time, but the customs is taking 4 to 6 weeks to process the packages. We cannot control situation like that and we hope for your understanding.

Lost Packages

For packages, particularly samples that are shipped with no tracking numbers, occasionally get lost - meaning it is taking longer than the expected delivery time that Canada Post suggests. But before you report to us, please understand that it is common that it takes more than 2-3 weeks to deliver to US cities and often 6 weeks to deliver to Middle Eastern and Asian countries. Please contact us (shop@zoologistperfumes.ca) if you suspect your package is lost in transit.

Returned Packages

If a package is returned to us for reason such as wrong address, we will refund you the cost of the item but not shipping cost.
