Return and Refund Policy for Zoologist Perfumes

Thank you for shopping with Zoologist Perfumes. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our policy below for details on returns, refunds, exchanges, and related matters.

Returns

We accept returns of unopened and unused 60mL deluxe bottles within 14 days of receiving your order. Returns will not be accepted if the seal on the box is broken or if the bottle has been opened or tested (e.g., if it does not meet your scent expectations).

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return authorization via email will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items / Exceptions

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Perfume samples
  • Travel sprays
  • Attars
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards

We do not accept product returns from certain countries, such as the United Kingdom. Please contact us before attempting to return products from restricted countries.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for covering the cost of return postage. We do not provide prepaid return labels.

Please use a trackable shipping method and provide us with the tracking number. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return packages.

Customs Declaration (for US/international returns):
On the customs form, please declare the item as “Cosmetic Product Return” and enter a declared value of $5.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • If the product is confirmed to be unopened and unused, we will issue a full refund of the product price (excluding original shipping costs).
  • If the product has been opened, used, or the seal is broken, we reserve the right to deduct a 50% restocking fee from the refund or reject the return.

We will notify you by email once your return has been received and inspected, including whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card issuer to post the refund to your account.

Special Cases

For packages returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer, refusal to pay customs duties, or unavailability to receive the package: We will refund only the product price (original shipping costs are non-refundable).

Defective or Damaged Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If an item arrives defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong product, contact us right away at shop@zoologistperfumes.ca so we can evaluate the issue.

For defective products, we will offer a replacement or full refund (including shipping costs where applicable) if reported within 30 days of receipt.

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges. If you wish to receive a different item, please return the original product according to this policy. Once the return is accepted and refunded, you may place a new order for the desired item.
